為協助年輕人了解台灣選舉文化，民進黨高市黨部舉辦為期兩天的「2015港都雄青鬥陣營」，有60名18至35歲的年輕人參加，下午結業前，邀請蔡英文到場講課。
蔡英文說，去年太陽花學運後的九合一大選，台灣民眾以選票表達對民進黨的厚望；運動所指出的問題，需要透過政治才能解決問題，要解決問題就需要做許多功課，政治也可以很專業。
她又說，政治雖需專業，但政策要有溫度，不能是冷冰冰的，決策過程不能關起門來，要走進社會傾聽民意，並與民眾多溝通，才能貼近民意，推行才容易被民眾接受。
蔡英文以高中生日前衝進教育部抗議課綱微調事件為例，她表示，法律是要保障人民的權利，不能淪為執政者維護政權的工具及手段。
蔡英文並重提前陣子訪問美國在華盛頓演講所提的建立台灣為新亞洲的價值典範，建立以公民社會為主的民主制度。
面對台灣當前經濟發展緩慢，蔡英文說，將發展以創業為主的在地經濟，結合透明廉能政治及現代科技人文，發展新的經濟，建立一個永續、公平合理分配的新經濟社會。
蔡英文並鼓勵與會年輕人積極為民tutorabc 美國語言學校費用進黨立委及她輔選，並加入監票大軍，監督明年初大選的投開票。
高雄市長陳菊上午也到場講課，對學員面授機宜。陳菊與綠營立委及議員下午也陪同蔡英文到場，蔡英文及陳菊受到與會熱烈歡迎，學員並爭相與蔡英文及陳菊合影。1040726
