朱立倫表示，社會愛心到目前為止，已進帳5億2000多萬元，另外還有承諾約幾千萬元捐款，將於明天陸續進帳。
他表示，謝謝各界愛心，每一分錢都會專款專用，用在所有傷患。
他說，市府各局處派員到各醫院訪視時，住院傷患家屬反映，由於仍要住院一段時間，需市府提供補充耗材的協助，經市府討論後，決定由這筆愛心基金撥款支應，也就是一般病床10萬元，加護病房20萬元，畢竟後續照護是長期作戰，盼讓家屬們在這段期間能支應一些補助品及耗材。
他表示，近期將邀傷患家屬代表、燒燙傷協會、醫療機構、律師、陽光基金會等各單位組成委員會，由這個委員會來決定經英文地址查詢費如何用在醫療復建等後續工作。
至於傷患未來工作問題，朱立倫表示，已接到很多企業的電話，企業界除捐款外，也承諾要給傷患未來重返社會的支持，後續將用每一傷患一人一案的專案服務態度，提供所有傷患重返社會的需求。1040702
